We delivered a national-scale POS refresh and infrastructure rollout—focused on practical solutions, streamlined execution, and clear communication across all phases of the project.

Key initiatives included:

  • Migrating Lightspeed POS to Microsoft Azure Cloud

  • Refreshing 140 retail sites across Canada

  • Selecting POS vendors and defining a simple governance structure

  • Managing infrastructure setup with VM servers and on-site installations

  • Following SDLC principles to maintain structured reporting and oversight

  • Conducting Steering Committee meetings and providing consistent stakeholder updates

Our approach was grounded in practicality, avoiding complexity in favour of clarity and efficiency.

Using Microsoft Project, we broke down work, optimized resource allocation, tracked budgets, and maintained schedule visibility. Financial oversight included monthly vendor invoice audits and statement of work reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
